Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh has made a big revelation about his friendship with former Indian captain MS Dhoni during an episode of a show. Dhoni and Yuvraj are both cricketers who have played together for the Indian cricket team and have contributed to winning several major trophies for India. However, Yuvraj Singh revealed that Dhoni was never his close friend.
Yuvraj mentioned, "MS Dhoni and I are not close friends; we were only friends because of cricket. We played together. Mahi's lifestyle was completely different from mine, and that's why we never became close friends. Even though we played together, we couldn't become good friends. When I and Mahi went on the field, we gave more than 100%. When you are the captain and vice-captain, there are differences in your decisions."
He further added, "Sometimes he did not like the decisions I made, and sometimes I did not like the decisions he made. This happens in every team. When we are on the field, we keep our ego aside and contribute to the team's performance."
Yuvraj explained, "Once, Dhoni was injured, and I was running for him as a runner when he was playing at 90. I remember he stopped me from getting him on strike to complete his century in a World Cup match against the Netherlands when I was playing at 48 runs in the 48th over."
