ODI WC 2023: The wait for the ODI World Cup is over, qualifier matches will start from June 18, 10 contenders for two places

The qualifier round of the ODI World Cup 2023 begins on 18 June. Eight teams have qualified directly for the tournament to be held in India from October 5 to November 19. Apart from hosts India, England, Australia, New Zealand, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh and South Africa have secured their places. At the same time, there are 10 contenders for the remaining two places. There will be a qualifying round between these 10 teams from June 18 to July 9. 

These 10 teams compete for two places

Final playing teams will reach the main round
The top three teams from the group will advance to the Super Six round. The two teams that perform well here will reach the finals and also make it to the main round of the World Cup. These two teams will play in the main round to be held in India. The qualifying round of the World Cup is being played in Zimbabwe. All the matches will be held at four grounds in Zimbabwe. These grounds are- Harare Sports Club, Takashinga Sports Club, Bulawayo Athletic Club and Queens Sports Club of Bulawayo. The winner and runner-up team here will play against the top teams of the world in India. The schedule for the main rounds of the World Cup is also likely to be released soon.
