IPL 2023: Shikhar Dhawan created history, became the second Indian after Virat Kohli to achieve this feat

This was his 48th half-century in IPL. Apart from this, he has also scored two centuries. Dhawan also registered his 50th 50+ score in IPL. He became the second Indian to do so. Before him, Virat Kohli has also achieved this feat. Virat has 45 half-centuries and five centuries in the IPL. Dhawan is the third player to achieve this position in the overall IPL list. David Warner (59) is on top in terms of most 50+ scores. He has scored 55 half-centuries and four centuries in this league. 

Apart from these three, no batsman has scored more than 50 Fifty plus scores. Dhawan has 6370 runs in 208 matches in the IPL at an average of 35.59 and a strike rate of 126.72. At the same time, Virat is on top in terms of runs. He has scored 6706 runs in 224 matches at an average of 36.64 and a strike rate of 129.51. Warner is third with 5974 runs in 164 matches at a strike rate of 140.23.
