The T20 World Cup-winning team has arrived in Mumbai and participated in a victory parade on an open bus. The BCCI honored the players at Wankhede Stadium and presented them with a cheque of INR 125 crore.

Lap of Honor by Players: After the honor ceremony, players took a lap of honor around the Wankhede Stadium, expressing gratitude to the fans and giving away signed balls.
BCCI Presents Check to Indian Team: During the honor ceremony, the BCCI presented the Indian team with a cheque of INR 125 crore. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah had announced this prize money for the team following their victory.
Kohli on Rohit’s Emotions: Virat Kohli remarked on Rohit Sharma’s emotions, stating, "In my 15-year career, I've never seen Rohit this emotional. We hugged each other, and that moment will always be special for me."
Desperation for Trophy: Kohli shared, "When we won the World Cup in 2007 and 2011, senior players were emotional, but I couldn’t connect. Now, as seniors ourselves, Rohit and I were desperate to win this trophy. Coming back to Wankhede with the trophy is special for us."
Kohli Praises Bumrah: Kohli praised fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, "I want everyone to applaud a player who made a comeback in every match - Jasprit Bumrah. He bowled brilliantly in the final's last five overs, especially in the last two overs. Bumrah is a once-in-a-generation bowler. This World Cup has been phenomenal for him."
Kohli on Returning to India: Kohli thanked fans, "I want to thank the fans. The last four days have been amazing. We wanted to return from Barbados as soon as possible, but we were held back. The final against South Africa was special, and just like every fan, we also felt the match slipping away, but we turned it around in the last five overs."
Dravid on Rohit's Call: Coach Rahul Dravid shared, "After the ODI World Cup, I wasn’t sure about continuing. Our campaign was great except for the final loss. Then, Rohit called me and said, ‘Rahul, let’s give it one last shot.’ I’m grateful for that call."
Dravid Praises Players: Dravid said, "These players mean a lot to me; they are like family. Their hard work is unparalleled. They have always focused on being better. I am proud of Rohit’s leadership and grateful to have coached this team. I will miss this love and support from the fans."
Rohit Thanks Fans: Rohit Sharma expressed, "Just as the players were passionate about winning the World Cup, so were the fans. What we did on June 29 brought smiles to their faces. This is a special team, and I am proud to have captained it."

Every World Cup Special: Rohit reminisced, "Every World Cup has been special for me. In 2007, we showed the world how to win the T20 World Cup. In 2011, we won at Wankhede, which was special. We celebrated our 2013 Champions Trophy win here too. Each victory holds a unique place in my heart."
