In an Instagram post, Rohit Sharma acknowledged that he was unaware of how to cope with the defeat in the World Cup final. Despite winning 10 consecutive matches in the tournament, the unexpected stumble left Rohit grappling for answers. He admitted that dealing with the loss was challenging, and it took the support of his family and friends to help him navigate through the pain.
Sharma revealed, "I didn't know how to come back from this. I didn't know what to do. My family and friends pushed me forward. They kept everything around me light, which was very helpful. Recognising that loss was not easy, but life moves on. You have to move on in life."
Reflecting on the tournament, Rohit Sharma expressed pride in the way the team played throughout. He mentioned that winning the World Cup was a dream for everyone, and the fans' support was overwhelming. Despite the disappointment, he emphasised the need to move forward and start afresh.
