As the ICC World Cup draws near, Team India is gearing up for the tournament with a series of practice matches. However, there is speculation surrounding the participation of star cricketer Virat Kohli in the upcoming practice match against the Netherlands. The match is scheduled to be held in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday, October 3rd.
Team India had initially planned to play their first practice match against England in Guwahati. However, due to adverse weather conditions and heavy rains, the match in Guwahati was canceled. Consequently, the team traveled to Thiruvananthapuram for their next practice match. Notably, Virat Kohli was not part of the group that traveled to Thiruvananthapuram.
According to media reports, Virat Kohli had requested permission from team management to be granted leave due to personal reasons. As a result, he returned to Mumbai from Guwahati. While the exact nature of the personal matter remains undisclosed, the team management approved his request, allowing him to be absent from the practice match against the Netherlands.
