Bazball was introduced by England under the coaching of Brendon McCullum, and it involves bold and aggressive batting decisions to achieve favorable outcomes. Kishan emphasized that Bazball might be effective on flat wickets, but it is unlikely to succeed on tracks that offer assistance to the bowlers, such as the turning tracks of the subcontinent. He stressed the importance of having a flexible approach and playing according to the conditions.
The young cricketer explained, "It is not possible to play that fast every day; it depends on the situation as well. England is batting quickly, but you need to consider the kind of pitches they are playing on. In most places where we play, it is not easy to bat due to turn and bounce."
Kishan further noted that playing an aggressive style is not necessary in every match. Instead, teams should assess the need for quick runs and adopt the Bazball approach accordingly. He stated, "Every individual is different. For some, not getting a chance might be frustrating, but some take it as a challenge. Maybe I wasn't doing well, and that's why I wasn't getting that chance. I take one match at a time. Test cricket is a five-day game that challenges you mentally and physically. Instead of thinking too much ahead, I look at the match I am playing and how I can help my captain, whether by keeping wickets or batting."
