India A Defeat Bangladesh A By 51 Runs To Book Final Clash Against Pakistan A

BCCI

India A secured a commanding 51-run victory against Bangladesh A in the ACC Men's Emerging Asia Cup semifinal in Colombo. Nishant Sandhu's five-wicket haul and Manav Suthar's three-wicket performance proved pivotal in guiding India A to a strong position after Bangladesh's solid opening partnership. The Bangladeshi side faltered during the middle overs, leading to their downfall, as India A bowled them out for 160/10 while chasing a target of 212.

Earlier, Yash Dhull's resilient innings of 66 off 85 balls, including six boundaries, helped India A post a respectable total of 211. Bangladesh A's bowlers managed to dismiss India A in 49.5 overs, with Rakibul Hasan, Mahedi Hasan, and Tanzim Hasan Sakib taking two wickets each.

Although India A lost wickets in quick succession after a slow start, Yash Dhull held one end firm and carried his knock until the final over. Captain Abhishek Sharma contributed with 34 runs, while Sai Sudharsan and Manav Suthar added 21 runs each to the team's scoreboard.

With this win, India A maintained their unbeaten streak in the competition, securing three victories in their league matches and the semifinal clash. The stage is now set for an exciting summit clash against Pakistan on Sunday.
