The Asia Cup 2023, set to take place in Pakistan from 31st August to 17th September 2023, now has an official schedule. This highly anticipated 50-over ODI tournament will feature matches held at renowned international venues. The upcoming edition will introduce two groups, with two teams from each group progressing to the Super Four stage. Following intense competition in the Super Four stage, the top two teams will battle it out in the grand final. 

The announcement of the Asia Cup 2023 schedule was made by the president of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC).

The Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Jay Shah, has confirmed that India and Pakistan will be in the same group for the ODI Asia Cup 2023.

Nepal's Historic Debut in Asia Cup 2023:

Nepal is set to make its maiden appearance in the Asia Cup 2023 after securing a spot in the tournament by winning the ACC Men's Premier Cup. In a thrilling final against the UAE, Nepal emerged victorious with a comprehensive seven-wicket win, powered by Gulshan Kumar Jha's composed innings of 67 runs. This triumph marked a significant milestone for Nepal as they qualified for their first-ever participation in this prestigious tournament.
