The team of Chennai Super Kings has become the champion for the fifth time. In the final, they defeated Gujarat Titans by five wickets using the Duckworth-Lewis method. After the match, there were emotional moments in the dugout of Chennai. Ravindra Jadeja, who won CSK in the match, hugged his wife Rivaba and kept hugging her for a long time. Rivaba looked emotional. At the same time, CSK captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni also hugged wife Sakshi and Ziva.

After CSK won, Dhoni lifted Jadeja running towards the dugout. After this, family moments were seen on the field. The families of CSK players came to the ground and greeted each other. During this, Dhoni was also seen cuddling Santner's cute baby. Dhoni also met Hardik and his wife Natasha Stankovic, Krunal Pandya and his wife Pankhuri before the presentation show. Also met the family members of Mathisha Pathirana.

After this, when the Chennai team got the trophy, the players handed over the trophy to Jeeva, Rahane's daughter Arya and Jadeja's daughter Nidhyana. Its photos have also come to the fore. Dhoni looked very emotional after the match. He had never been seen celebrating like this before. Dhoni had a long banter with Ambati Rayudu and Jadeja, who were playing their last IPL match. He then also posed for photographs with the ground staff of Ahmedabad, leaving the rest of the players celebrating.

Talking about the match, in the final played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat batting first scored 214 runs for four wickets in 20 overs. Thereafter rain intervened and ruined two and a half hours of play. The match resumed at 12.10. Under the Duckworth-Lewis rule, Chennai got a target of 171 runs in 15 overs. Chennai achieved this by losing five wickets on the last ball.

With this win, Chennai has equaled Mumbai's record of winning the title five times. Sai Sudarshan played a brilliant innings from Gujarat. He missed out on a century and was dismissed for 96 off 47 balls with the help of eight fours and six sixes. After this, Devon Conway scored the highest 47 runs in 25 balls for Chennai.
