3. Kohli confronts BCCI President Ganguly



After removing Kohli from the ODI and T20 captaincy in 2021, Sourav Ganguly, who was then the president of the BCCI, said in a conversation with a media house that Kohli was talked to before taking over the ODI captaincy and after his consent That was the decision. Ganguly had said that the BCCI had asked Virat not to relinquish the T20 captaincy, but Virat did not agree and resigned. Kohli told Ganguly's statement wrong
After this, Virat had termed Ganguly's words wrong in the press conference and said that he was told by the BCCI officials 90 minutes ago that now Rohit will be the captain of the ODI team in his place. 1. Kohli clashed with Naveen-ul-Haq in IPL
