India has taken a 1-0 lead in the four-Test series against Australia. He defeated the Kangaroo team by an innings and 132 runs in the match played at Nagpur. India finished the Test in three days with a brilliant performance. Captain Rohit Sharma scored a century while Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja showed amazing with the ball. After the victory in this match, Team India has gained in the points table of the World Test Championship. He is now two steps away from making it to the finals.

The Rohit Sharma-led side is yet to ensure its place in the final. After taking the lead in the series, they have consolidated their position in the points table. Before the series, India is in second place with 58.93 percentage points. He is still in second place, but has increased by a percentage point. India now has a score of 61.67 per cent, which is much higher than third-ranked Sri Lanka (53.33).

Australia lost, on
the other hand, talking about Australia, they need a win in the series to make it to the finals. He remains at the top of the points table after the defeat, but his percentage has dropped. The percentage marks of Kangaroo team has decreased from 75.56 per cent to 70.83 per cent.

What are the equations to reach the finals?
Team India has to win at least three out of four matches against Australia to reach the World Test Championship final match. He has won a match. Now he can reach the final with two wins. If Team India wins less than three Tests in the series, then the chances of reaching the final will remain, but the difficulties will increase. Then he will have to depend on the results of Sri Lanka and South Africa.
