t is well known that Masaba is the daughter of Neena Gupta and former West Indies captain Viv Richards. Although there was no marriage between the two, but there is a very good bonding with the daughter of the Windies cricketer.
Nina and Viv met during a 1980 cricket series. There was a friendship between the two and then this relationship turned into love. Bollywood's well-known actress then openly accepted her relationship with the father of two children and gave birth to a baby girl without marriage.
The relationship between Viv and Nina was not good but both never let it affect their daughter. Daughter Masaba is very close to both father Viv and mother Nina. The father had to come to India to attend the wedding and this shows the love he has for his daughter.
Neena once told this in an interview that her daughter goes to meet her father Viv at least thrice a year. Viv's happiness can be seen in the picture with daughter on the wedding.
