The players of the senior men's team looked elated after India's victory in the ICC Women's Under-19 T20 World Cup. All the players along with coach Rahul Dravid have sent a special message for the champion girls. Dravid has described it as a historic day. Apart from him, Prithvi Shaw, who made India the Under-19 champion under his captaincy, has also congratulated the women's team. BCCI has shared a video regarding this on social media.

It was under Dravid's coaching that the Indian men's Under-19 team won the 2018 Under-19 World Cup in the 50-over format. "Today was a historic day for the Indian women's U-19 team," Dravid said in a video posted by the BCCI. Dravid then passed the mic to former men's U-19 champion captain Prithvi Shaw.

What did Prithvi Shaw say?
Prithvi Shaw said, “I think this is a big achievement. Congratulations, well done." After Prithvi spoke, the entire team based in Lucknow clapped in unison for the women's team.

India won in 14 overs itself
Team India defeated England by seven wickets in the final. It was the first edition of the Women's Under-19 T20 World Cup and India created history by winning. Batting first, the entire England team was reduced to 68 runs. In response, India achieved the target by losing three wickets in 14 overs.
