The Indian cricket team received a grand reception in Mumbai as they paraded through Marine Drive, waving to the thousands of fans who gathered to catch a glimpse of their favorite stars. The victory parade caused major traffic disruptions in South Mumbai, as the streets were packed with cricket enthusiasts eager to celebrate the team's T20 World Cup triumph.
The players, carrying the trophy, boarded an open-top bus at Marine Drive and proceeded to Wankhede Stadium. The sight of the jubilant crowd lining the streets from Marine Drive to Wankhede Stadium was a testament to the immense support and admiration for the team. The players reciprocated the love by waving and greeting the fans throughout the parade.
Upon returning from Barbados, the T20 World Cup-winning team visited Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence in New Delhi on Thursday. The team flew back to India on a chartered plane and headed straight to meet the Prime Minister. During the visit, the players enjoyed breakfast with PM Modi and engaged in conversation. The Prime Minister also took a memorable photograph with the champion players and former coach Rahul Dravid.
