Shardul Thakur became 'Lord of Oval', got Team India out of trouble with three consecutive half-centuries and defeats

Shardul Thakur has become the new troubleshooter of the Indian team. When Team India is in trouble on foreign soil, Shardul sometimes comes in handy with the ball and sometimes with the bat. This time Shardul did this feat at the Oval in England. In the final of the World Test Championship, he scored a brilliant 51 off 109 balls in the first innings against Australia. This is his fourth half-century in Test.

The wicket was 152 runs. From here he supported Ajinkya Rahane very well. He shared a 109-run partnership for the seventh wicket with Rahane. Rahane and Shardul's partnership averted the threat of a follow-on from India. Shardul was dismissed as the ninth batsman. The Indian team was limited to 296 runs in the first innings. Earlier Australia had scored 469 runs. He got a lead of 173 runs on the basis of first innings.
